Hello,
My name is Kacy and I have created this GoFundMe account for one of my best friends, Lindsay, of 24 years and her family. Here is her story:
-In August 2020 Lindsay's dad, Randy was admitted to the hospital for an infection in his foot and had to have surgery. Due to other health issues that he had, he was in the hospital a total of 2 weeks recovering.
-Fast forward to the week of October 5th, Lindsay's mom, Tammy, was diagnosed with COVID-19, along with Lindsay's sister, Brandy. Tammy was also diagnosed with double Pneumonia. Lindsay's husband Josh was also diagnosed with COVID-19 later in the week.
-On Friday, October 9th, Tammy was admitted to the hospital and placed in ICU due to difficulty breathing.
-On Sunday, October 11th, Tammy had a breathing tube placed to help her breath.
-On Wednesday, October 14th, Lindsay and Brandy's dad, Randy, was found unresponsive and he passed away, very sudden and so unexpected. Due to the critical state that Tammy is currently in, she unaware of her husband's passing and therefore Lindsay and Brandy are left to make any decisions and arrangements for their dad and handle the finances. They also are the only ones to make decisions regarding their mom's care now.
-Brandy is 35 and Lindsay is 30 and to lose a parent at such a young age and unexpectedly is very tragic and then on top of the possibly of losing both parents is unthinkable and unbearable to imagine.
-The outpouring of love and support that has been given to Lindsay and Brandy during this time has been extremely heartwarming. They truly need continued prayers for their mom and for her care team.
-To help ease the burden for Lindsay and Brandy of all the medical bills from Randy's hospital stay in August and from Tammy's hospital stay currently, I humbly ask that you search your heart and seek God on this request and make a donation.
-In my 24 years of knowing Randy, Tammy, Lindsay, and Brandy, they have always been a close knit family and have always done everything together. Randy and Tammy always treated me as one of their own and I am forever grateful for that. I know that if the roles were reversed they would be helping me every step of the way.
