<div>On 11/12/2024, the Hilden’s world was completely flipped upside down. During Avery’s MRI they found a tumor. The diagnosis is called DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma).

<div>Unfortunately, they have since learned that the tumor is inoperable and there is no cure. Cassie did ask the tough question of what their time will look like and were informed it could be anywhere from 9 months to 15 months. Avery will undergo radiation to help prolong her time. They are still at UOM and in discussion with Avery’s healthcare team regarding clinical trials and such.

<div>No family or 6 year old little girl should EVER have to deal with something like this. I also wanted to add a back story, not only are they going through this now but Cassie (the mom) is a 2x Cancer survivor (Leukemia &amp; breast cancer). This family has been through so much, and deserves all the help we can offer.
