Allison Godwin (Allie to those that know her) is a bright, beautiful, strong and courageous young woman. Allie is married to Erryn, and together, they have four beautiful children. Last year, Allie was pregnant when she received devastating news: she was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and had to undergo an emergency c-section. Allie delivered a beautiful baby girl who is now healthy and happy. Recently Allie, with all her courage and strength, told her story on Facebook. Here, in Allie's words, is her story:

"This is not a post that I ever wanted to write, especially not so soon in my life.

Last summer, when I was pregnant, I was diagnosed with cancer, and after an emergency c-section, many rounds of chemo, radiation, and multiple surgeries, I was told that I was totally cancer free in January.

I had hoped that 2021 would be the worst year of my life and that 2022 would be a much happier, healthier one. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. A few weeks ago, I noticed a lump on my chest and went to my oncologists.

After many tests and a biopsy, last week I learned that the cancer had returned, and that I have multiple tumours all over my body. The oncologists confirmed my worst fears; it is stage four and terminal.

I wanted to post this, not for sympathy, but to remind everyone that no matter what you’re dealing with, your time is precious. So don’t put things off, do what makes you happy, and be with the ones you love. I feel like nobody ever feels like they got enough time... I think that even if I was 95 and I got this news, I’d feel like I was robbed. So make sure that no matter what, you live your life to the fullest, whatever that may be for you ❤️❤️"
