Support for the family of Pierre Excellent

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved father, Pierre Excellent. Pierre was a loving husband, father, brother, and friend to many. He leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years Marie Josee Excellent. He also leaves behind 5 children and 3 grandchildren whom he supported and loved dearly. Pierre was an active church goer and leader in the Haitian community for many years.

Pierre passed away at the age of 59 on Tuesday May 19, 2020 at 7:52am at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston. Pierre was hospitalized over the weekend for breathing issues and his condition continued to deteriorate until he was placed on a ventilator and sedated. Pierre suffered many setbacks and multiple strokes and a heart attack before tragically passing. The amazing medical staff at the Beth Israel Facility did all the medical therapies they could do to make sure our dad had the best care in his final days. An investigation is still being conducted with the Massachusetts State police to find out the cause of death.

Pierre was born in Haiti and immigrated to the United States in the 1984 to provide a better life for his family. Pierre was the sole provider of our family and did everything financially for us while Marie stayed home and raised the kids. He always spoke about how he worried something would happen to him and he wouldn’t be here for us and unfortunately his worst fear came true.

With the sudden and tragic loss, we are in the unfortunate situation of being left with a tremendous amount of debt. The funeral and medical bills have placed a tremendous financial burden on our family during this time of grieving. We hope you can find it within your heart to donate whatever you can to help cover the medical and funeral costs for our late father Pierre.
