Our hearts have been broken. We have lost a dear friend due to a tragic accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and all who have been affected.
Efren Perez-Sanchez worked at Cook's Farm and Greenhouse for around 20 years. He loved the work and loved all the people he worked with and that love was reciprocated. Efren was the best type of person and was always happy and smiling, ready with a good joke or to lift you up if you ever needed it. He stood up for anyone who needed it and was always willing to help with anything that needed doing.
Sadly, on June 27th, 2019 he was the victim of a terrible accident. While doing one of his routine duties an air tank exploded and took the life of our dear friend. It has been devastating as he was like a brother to us all. He was only 39. He is survived by his wife Ana Claudia and his 3 sons Efren, Eduardo and Angel.
We will miss Efren dearly and would like to do everything we can to help his family at this time. We are doing what we can to help the family but have been approached by many asking how they could help and wanting to give something to his family in their moment of loss. That is why we have created this GoFundMe to help those who would like to help but don't have a way to do so. We appreciate everyone who has given their condolences and offered their help. All funds will go to Efren's wife and children.
If you knew him, there will be a memorial service for Efren Monday July 1st from 6-8 at Serenity Mortuary in Draper. He will then be buried in his home town in Mexico

Nuestros corazones han quebrado. Hemos perdido un amigo querido debido a un accidente trágico. La familia y todos que hayan sido afectados están en nuestros pensamientos y oraciones.
Efren Pérez-Sánchez trabajó en Cook´s Farm and Greenhouse por acerca de 20 años. Amó el trabajo y amó la gente con quien trabajó y este amor se le correspondió.
