Support for the Donleys

Hello, my name is Nicole. And I am asking for the community to rally together to support Taylor, Tricia, Logan as they prepare to welcome sweet Luna into the world.
On March 21, 2023, Taylor and Tricia Donley learned that their unborn daughter, Luna, has a life-threatening birth defect known as Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia CDH).
Luna's diaphragm failed to close during the first trimester, allowing the contents of her abdomen, spleen, and bowels to migrate into the chest, impacting the growth and development of her lungs and pushing on her heart. When they met with a team of surgeons and specialists at the Children's Hospital of Philadephia (CHOP) on April 4, 2023, they learned that Luna's lungs are very underdeveloped and will continue to be until birth. Luna is currently listed in the
"moderate-severe" CDH category at CHOP.
Luna will immediately be placed on a ventilator after she is born and will remain on a ventilator, or ECMO, until she is stable enough for surgery. After surgery, she will continue to be on a ventilator until she is able to breathe on her own which could take weeks to months to accomplish.
Tricia will relocate to Philadelphia at the end of June and stay there until Luna is born at the end of July. Doctors have given them a time frame of six weeks in the NICU (this being the absolute best case) to being in the NICU 6-8 months.
Regardless of the actual amount of time they spend in the hospital, I know that she will need the support of the community to rally behind her and her family during these difficult times.
Tricia will spend months away from home and work while Taylor will continue to work and provide stability for Logan at home. They will visit Tricia - and eventually Luna - on the weekends. I have started this Go Fund Me page in an attempt to ease the burden of Tricia and Taylor. Because of relocation, traveling expenses, food expenses, and of course accruing high medical costs, l am humbly asking that you support Tricia and her family in any way you can. This will allow Tricia and Taylor to focus on Luna and not worry about everyday expenses. Share this link with your family and your friends. If possible, please donate, any little bit helps. I
am hopeful that Luna will survive her condition and be able to come home in the late fall. She is a fighter. Until then, please pray, and send positive thoughts, hopes, and wishes.
