Support for the Bourchier's

Emery Elise was born on January 18, 2018 via emergency C-section after Ansley's midwife suspected that she was not getting the oxygen and blood flow she needed. Emery was in fact in distress and once she was born she needed to be transferred to a different hospital for a specific treatment that would give her the best chance for survival. Dustin traveled back and forth between the two hospitals to watch over both his wife and newborn baby girl. Thousands of people started praying for this young family because Emery needed nothing less than a miracle! After a devestating meeting with the neonatologist on Saturday the 27th Dustin and Ansley shared with their friends and family that the diagnosis was that Emery was brain dead and would never make it home with them. Nevertheless, we did not stop praying for that miracle! A few short days later, Ansley and Dustin made their daily trip to the NICU to visit their sweet baby Emery and were overwhelmed with joy when they found their little girl's eyes open!! Emery has a long road ahead as do Dustin and Ansley. The doctors are telling us that we have to take it one day at a time. Dustin will try to continue to work as much as he can during this tough time but Ansley's job is to be there for Emery and her older daughter Samantha. This is harder than most of us can imagine and the last thing I want them to have to worry about is paying for the excellent care that Emery has been receiving.
