Support for the Bouchard Family

On January 3rd, the Bouchard family was impacted when Dave suffered a serious fall resulting in life threatening head and back injuries.   Dave is currently recovering at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston with support by Jen and their children; Carter, Elise, and Everett, along with Dave’s and Jen’s parents, siblings, extended family, and friends. 

Understanding that this will be a long road to a successful recovery for Dave, which will require the continued support from Jen and the family, co-workers and friends at Dave’s employer (WSP) and at Jen’s employer (EA Engineering) have set up this GoFundMe page to help defray the financial impacts of this tragedy. Funds raised will help the family to focus on Dave’s recovery by offsetting loss of income and the numerous unexpected costs, such as medical bills not covered by insurance, lodging for Jen and family to stay in Boston with Dave, travel expenses for out-of-town family to come provide caregiver support for their children and animals, and countless other extra expenses that will be accruing. 

 We are all keeping Dave and his family in our thoughts and prayers, and through this page hope to be able to allow Dave, Jen, and their family to focus on his speedy recovery.  As Dave’s recovery progresses, we will update this page to better explain how their needs are evolving, but we are hopeful that he continues to improve such that your help won’t be needed at all.  Any support, no matter how small, will be greatly appreciated by the Bouchard family.
