Support for the Bawinkel Family

The Freeport FFA Chapter and Harlem Helpers 4-H Club have collaborated to raise funds for Al and Bonnie Bawinkel and their family. These proceeds will go toward medical expenses or expenses toward the loss of their home.

On Tuesday, September 13, 2022, the Bawinkel's home exploded with Al and Bonnie inside. Al and Bonnie both have extensive burns and were airlifted from FHN in Freeport to OSF Saint Anthony in Rockford.

Al and Bonnie are two of the kindest people! Both are well known for their activities in Stephenson County agriculture, including Bonnie being a long-time 4-H Leader for the Harlem Helpers Clover Buds.
