Help Bode Fight Brain Cancer

Donation protected
This past Monday, September 11th, Bode began having headaches at school. His mother Heather was called and she took him home. As the day progressed, Bode began vomiting and the pain worsened. She took him to see the pediatrician who thought that Bode might have some kind of virus. The headaches and vomiting continued. Bode's father Aaron requested a CT scan, which showed that Bode had blood in his brain. Heather and Bode were flown to Children's Hospital in Denver, CO that night.

Bode had an MRI the next morning that revealed a large tumor in his brain. He had surgery yesterday to have the tumor removed. The neurosurgeon believes he got most of the tumor out. However, Bode is currently paralyzed on his left side.

Right now, we don't know what kind of tumor it was. It wil take about 10-12 days to find out. More updates will come.

Bode won't be able to come home for several months.  He will need extensive rehabilitation and faces a long road to recovery.  At this time, it is unclear what further treatments, surgeries, and procedures he will need to undergo.  Bode and his family need your help.  Any donation, large or small,  will make a difference. Your donation will help to pay for the surgery, additional procedures/treatments, airfare, accomodations, and other unexpected expenses.
