<div>Our sister, a mother, wife, aunt, and friend, was placed on life support on 12/12/2025 at 1:33 am. She was traveling to Florida with her husband and two younger kids, ages 11 and 7. A trip she has done many times in the past through the night. A trip that she will no longer need to take. Her heart stopped beating that night, and so did ours briefly when we heard the news. She was placed on life support, and family was contacted that she would not make it through the night. Family, friends, and loved ones traveled through the day to get to her for one last chance to see her, to hold her hand, and to say goodbye. Sounida (Sue) was so very loved. She was love. She was caring and selfless. She gave her life to Christ this past September, and she would be the first to tell you the good news of what the Lord has done. This is so hard to type and even harder to truly accept the words that she is gone. In the physical sense, she is gone. It still feels so unreal. I want to just call her and tell her how unreal this is, and I can easily hear her respond, "I know, right." She was so easy to talk to, and I hate that I didn't make it a habit to hear her voice each day. Our hearts will continue to beat on this side of heaven, but they will be forever broken at the loss of our loved one. She was the backbone of the sisters she leaves behind. She was the place her family could run to. She was a wonderful wife and an amazing mom, and I wish so much that I had gotten to tell her that. To tell her how amazing a mom she truly was. She sought to ensure her kids had what was needed to thrive, that they knew God. She showed them the world. She was their world. To think she is no longer in ours is so devastating, and our hearts break even more. To know what she was battling herself will still remain lost as Sue made it a point to do for others, give to others, be there for others. She never put herself first. It was always her kids, her family, her loved ones.

<div>At this time, we ask that you lift our family up in prayer. <strong>We are asking for donations to help with our next steps in seeing to it that Sue is provided a beautiful and loving service because that is what she was to us and we want to celebrate who she was and how much she was loved .</strong> We are asking for your love and support as we continue to grieve. <strong>We are asking for your hearts to break with ours in just the small moments when we want to pick up the phone to call her and we can't, or her children want to run to her and share about their day and they no longer can, or a husband who wants to just hold his wife's hand for a little while longer before she is taken off life support and even then won't want to leave her side.</strong> All donations will go directly to the family aside from the fee of this platform. They will go directly to her husband and two kids that she leaves behind. We know she is finally home, but to her children and her husband, Daryl, she was home, and nothing about this will come easy as we navigate the next steps with them.  We thank you for your continued love and support but more importantly, your prayers for our family during this time.
