<div>On New Year's Eve, my wife Stephanie Sellers went straight from her job to the ER because she was seeing double. At the hospital, she was diagnosed with a diffuse Midline Glioma, a rare and aggressive brain tumor that is most often found in children, but in rare cases, adults like Stephanie. The tumor is located in her cerebellum and cannot be removed. She endured three spinal taps and an MRI, which showed the tumor was not shrinking or growing despite large doses of steroids. Eventually, doctors performed a biopsy, which unfortunately caused the tumor to worsen and begin growing. They had to make a hole in her head to drain excess fluid, and later, a shunt was placed to help move fluid from her brain to her stomach.

<div>After several weeks of physical, occupational, and speech therapy, Stephanie was sent home to begin daily radiation treatments as an outpatient. At first, we had to pay for car service every day just to get her to the clinic. Stephanie was the breadwinner for our family, especially after I suffered heart failure in September and underwent multiple procedures myself. Now, neither of us can work. Our rent and bills continue to add up, and we have two young adults living at home, one with autistic issues. They help as much as they can, but the financial pressure is overwhelming. We are looking into affordable housing, but that process takes time we simply don't have.

We now are asking for your financial support to help us with the mounting bills we are looking at! We now have Access A Ride which cuts our transportation expenses to and from the radiation treatments, but we need to pay the rent, utilities and groceries!
