Eilish is the kind of person that truly makes you believe that sunshine and rainbows can exist in human form. She’s the real-life Mary Poppins, a third-grade teacher known for her passion for social justice, roller skating, her bunny rabbit Boomer, and her friends and family. Eilish is the definition of compassion, thoughtfulness, love, and pure joy. Unfortunately, terrible things still happen to the most wonderful of people. On Wednesday, November 4th Eilish was, regrettably, the victim of interpersonal violence, a horrible stabbing in her home by an ex-partner that left her with multiple critical injuries. She went to the hospital where she had surgery and, thankfully, is currently recovering. Our girl is a survivor, but she has a long road to recovery ahead. Eilish faces the cost of time off of work, therapy, relocating… There’s a lot. And on a third-grade teacher's salary, it would be nearly impossible to pay.  We’re asking for your help. Please consider donating so she can face the most uncomplicated road to recovery possible. Surviving interpersonal violence isn’t easy, especially after an incident as violent as the one she went through. Eilish deserves the best possible chance to recover, access to therapy to help her feel safe and secure again, and to help her find the sunshine and rainbows again.
