In Memory of Smack

Finding the right words to describe such a special person is not easy. I guess I should start by saying yes, his "real" name is Davoddren Harris...but, everyone knew him as Smack! And when I say everyone, I mean eveyone; Smack didn't meet a stranger! Seriously, he knew everybody! His heart was so big, and he had so much love to give. And he loved to give it! I can whole heartedly say, Smack was the true definition of "giving is better than receiving."
He loved doing anything outdoors, and could ride anything with wheels. The Wheelie King!! He had the most diverse taste in music! He was always wanting to have his picture taken! He loved to laugh, and have a good time...which is usually what happened when he was around anyway! He loved his family, and thought the world of his niece and nephews! (I think most would agree when I say that I've never met a kid that didn't love Smack). And most of all he loved God! Smack's good heart, and love for Christ was contagious, as was his smile! He undoubtedly touched many hearts, during his short time on Earth.
This amazing, generous, loyal person was taken from us on May 22, 2017. He and our friend, Cortez White, were senselessly murdered over a material item. They went to sell a dirtbike, and were robbed. That day, we were robbed of so much more! We don't know all the details yet, but we do know they were innocent victims of a horrible crime.
As we mourn over this tragic loss, please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. This fund is to pay our respect, and try to return the love Smack showed all of us. All donations are greatly appreciated, and will be presented to his mother, Angela Harris. We would love for you to leave kind words or share memories! Also, please share this campaign, in hopes to support his family during this difficult time.
Services will be held on Saturday, June 3rd at Leverette Hill Baptist Church-20 Leverette Hill Road
