My sister is battling End Stage Renal Disease and urgently needs a kidney transplant to survive. This illness has taken a tremendous toll on her health, leaving her unable to work. While she has applied for disability, the process can take up to six months before benefits begin. In the meantime, she is facing serious financial challenges.
