My sister was involved in a very toxic relationship with the father of her children. They have been very back and forth recently, she loved him so she was trying to work it out. He was very abusive and narcissistic, he would take her money and put his hands on her almost every day. Mind you she was the only one working. On December 2, 2024 he decided to throw a table at her face and leave her there with her 3 year old and one year old. He ended coming back and he was arrested. She will be filing a protection order and her the babies are safe with me. When he threw the entire coffee table at her face it caused her nose to break entirely and all of the bones around her eye sockets to be fractured. She was transported to metro where she diagnosed and told she would need facial reconstructive surgery. She has to wait at least a week for the swelling to go down then another 6 weeks after her surgery to return to work. Now that the father of her children is in jail her kids will be solely relying on her. I will also be out of work because she was instructed by her doctors that she cannot lift her children and basically needs to be on bed rest. With the holidays coming up I want to make sure that she doesn't have to worry and know that she can take the time she needs to heal.
