Dear Friends, Family, and Colleagues of Michael Lombardi,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of our beloved coworker and friend, Mike Lombardi. Mike was 55, and passed away unexpectedly. He was a dedicated and cherished member of our Security Department at Plainridge Park Casino. He brought positivity to our workplace, always checking in on his teammates and stepping up without hesitation—especially on days when we were short-staffed. His kindness, reliability, and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all of us.

As many of you know, Mike lived with and helped care for his 98-year-old grandmother, Silvia. In the wake of his passing, Silvia is now facing the emotional and practical challenges of living alone. Fortunately, she is surrounded by family members who are offering their love and support. However, this is still an incredibly difficult time for her, both emotionally and financially.

In honor of Mike’s memory and in gratitude for everything he gave to our team, we are reaching out to our community for support. After covering funeral expenses, we hope to help ease the financial burden for Silvia and ensure she continues to feel the support and care that Mike would have wanted for her.
