Urgent Help For Shannon Escobar and Aaron Miller

I am a long time friend of Shannon's and Aaron's and am completely heartbroken about this situation and wanted to reach out to others who know and love them to ask for immediate help for Shannon, and ultimately for Aaron once he is out of the hospital. 

On Friday, December 11th, Aaron attempted to take his life with a firearm and has been in the ICU @ University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City since then. He is still in critical condition with severe facial wounds and a breathing vent, and is being kept under total sedation. His ongoing medical expenses are likely to be huge. 

Due to the pandemic, Shannon lost her job earlier in the year and Aaron continued to work at Nestle, but contracted COVID at work recently, which then put them in a dire financial situation.   

They also care for Shannon's disabled mother and the difficulties of this year have been overwhelming for them. 

With no means of income and bills piling up, Shannon is in desperate need of some immediate help. Even visiting Aaron at the hospital requires driving 2 hours each way and a great deal of gas and expenses. 

Knowing how urgent this situation is, any help you can offer Shannon and Aaron would be deeply appreciated.
