Hi everyone, my name is Sarah and I am fundraising for Sawyer, his family, and their fight against pediatric cancer.


 


For those of you who do not know Sawyer, he is a vibrant 3 year old, with a contagious smile and an insurmountable love for life.


He is the beautiful son to Ashley and Kaylen, and loving brother to baby Bennett. If you met Sawyer on the street, you would never guess that he has faced more hardships in his tiny little life, than most adults face in their lifetime.


 


In October of 2018, at 6 months old, Sawyer was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma (a cancer of the soft tissue), he underwent 43 weeks of intensive chemotherapy, 28 days of radiation and 6 months of maintenance chemotherapy. In March of 2020, just before his second birthday, Sawyers completed his cancer treatment and was told he no longer had any evidence of disease.


 


In July of 2021, a routine scan found that Sawyers cancer had returned. Our hearts weren’t ready for such devastating news. To think he will have to fight for his life a second time is unimaginable.


 


Having a kid with cancer takes a toll not only emotionally, but financially, with unexpected costs and loss of income to care for your sick child!


It’s hard to ask for help, especially a second time around, but we know now more than ever these are trying times and we can not do it alone!


Not having to worry about finances helps us to focus on what’s important, and that’s caring for Sawyer! Any help does not go unnoticed.
