On behalf of the Sheikh Family, we would like to thank you again for all your thoughtful comments, prayers and good thoughts.
We want to thank the families who have brought Rizwan, Samantha and Missy meals. You have fed them physically and emotionally. We truly cannot convey how dear your support has been to their hearts and how much you have lifted them up during this difficult time.
We have received many emails from friends and family who are far from the Sheikh's who are requesting to assist their family in some capacity, which they are so appreciative of. Because of this request, we have decided to set up a Go Fund Me account for Rowan. We know that medical bills have started coming in. However, we also know that this will be a long journey for Rowan, and at this time we cannot anticipate the long-term care and support he many need. So we are grateful for the support your donations will bring towards Rowan's future care and needs.
With encouragement from friends and family, we now realize that GoFundMe is a simple vehicle for families to show their support and love from afar. The Sheikh's also don't want anyone donating with the uncertainty of the economy and jobs, but understand the want and need to help when you are far away from them, and the feeling of helplessness in this situation. Your love and prayers for Rowan are our main wish. So please keep them coming. We thank everyone for your constant support and willingness to help.
