We are reaching out as a family to ask for your love and support for Damon Hartstine and Sway Thompson as they navigate the sudden and heartbreaking loss of their 15-month-old daughter, Rosalie.
On June 30, 2025, we lost our precious Rosie in a drowning accident. This unimaginable tragedy has left our entire family in shock and unbearable pain. No matter how many safety mechanisms you have in place, nothing is a guarantee and tragedy can happen in the blink of an eye, so please hug your babies just a little tighter today and every day. Rosalie was a bright, loving, and vibrant little girl with the biggest, brightest eyes and the prettiest smile that brought immense joy to everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving her and her loss will forever leave a huge void in our hearts.
As Sway and Damon begin their journey of healing and grief, they are going to face unexpected financial challenges, including funeral expenses, time away from work, and daily living costs. We're coming to you ans asking for help to alleviate some of this burden, giving our family some peace that we need to grieve without additional financial stress. Any contribution, no matter how big or small, will be a blessing to them. And we understand If you're not in a position to donate, we kindly ask that you just pray for our family, allowing us time to grieve.
Arrangements will be made through Johnson funeral home in Sulphur, La. I will post more information about service when available for those who might wish to donate directly to the funeral home.
Thank you for keeping our family in your thoughts and prayers as we embark on this long journey of healing, faith, and resilience. And please respect our privacy as they navigate this heartbreaking and unimaginable loss. RIP our sweet angel, until we meet again.
