Support for Recently Housed Mom & Newborn

J, a recently housed new mother, needs some newborn essentials as she carries her baby through the world, earth-side!
J gave birth to a beautiful, healthy, 10lb baby boy on January 11th. J and her partner are former residents of Camp KT, a tent city located in Strathcona Park, Vancouver. They have each found temporary housing while welcoming their baby boy, and are in search of permanent housing where their whole family can live safely all under the same roof. While they navigate the transition of parenthood as well as new temporary housing, we would like to support them as much as they need.
This GoFundMe is asking for donations to help gift a basket of new-mom-new-baby essentials, as well as a stroller and carseat which the family is in need of. Items that will be included in the giftbasket include (but are not limited to):
- Diapers
-Onesies
-Meals
-Baby feeding supplies (bottles, warmers, etc)
-Post-natal maternity products (such as pads)
-Free/sliding scale doula consults and babysitting
A detailed, inclusive list of all expenses related to the basket and stroller/carseat will be updated in this description shortly.
100% of donations will go directly towards the items in this basket and the carseat and stroller. A picture of the basket, stroller, and carseat will be uploaded once it is completed and ready to give to mumma J!
