Philip  (Jason) went riding labor day weekend with the guys down in Coos Bay! He had been riding the dunes for a few days everything was going good. Sunday he decided to take the same ride from the day before and because of the wind during the night it changed the dunes. He went to go over a jump that the day before was a mountain which turned into a raiser back cliff. He went over it and was about 50 feet to 60 feet in the air and landed in critical condition. He was not conscious after the wreck for about 15 min. Luckily he had his friends there to call the ambulance. They took him to Bay hospital and  discovered he had bleeding in his brain, fluid around his liver, 10 broken ribs, a fractured disc in his back, broken eye socket, and broken nose. They almost immediately decided that they couldn't keep him at that hospital in his condition because they didn't have a neurology department. So they were trying to find a ambulance driver to take him to River Bend hospital in Eugene but the risk was to risky so then they decided to fly him to OHSU a hospital in Portland. He was in the ICU for about 3 days. Thank God we had a ton of people praying for him, because he started healing pretty quickly even the doctors were shocked. Power of Prayer! He now is home and starting to heal, he has alot of pain in his back and ribs, and has some short term memory loss that's getting better each day. But he has months of recovery. He is wanting to get back to work, but as of right now there is no way. He feels very stressed over all this. He is hoping to only miss 2 weeks of work but will see what all the different doctors say. He seems to be in more pain now then 3 days ago. Which the doctors told me to expect. We have never asked for help before so this is hard for us to do, but if anyone would like to donate we would  greatly appreciate it. Not sure what the next month's have in store for us but I do know God has our backs and we will get through this like we always do. Much love to all of you and we feel so blessed to have had so many prayers and support from everyone. I truly believe Jason is alive because of the amount of prayers he has had. Please don't feel obligated to donate your prayers and support are very much appreciated. Lots of love to all of you.
