A GoFundMe page has been established for Paul Malewicki, diagnosed in May 2019, with ALS. His family and friends are reaching out to you to assist in raising funds immediately for his ongoing medical expenses and handicap accessible van. We encourage all who read his story, to share via your social networks, in an effort to raise awareness and funds for Paul’s ongoing battle.
Paul is currently living in Jacksonville FL with his wife Chris (Marescalchi) and 3 daughter's, Taylor, Kiley and Holly. He is formerly from Salem Massachusetts, where he received his education and graduated from Salem High School in 1983. Paul furthered his studies attending Norwich University in Vermont, graduating in 1987. For 22 years, Paul proudly served as a US Navy officer, with 3 tours of deployment in the Middle East. Subsequently, he has been employed as a civilian environmental engineer at the US Naval Station in Mayport, FL.
Paul is adjusting from life as a self-sufficient and active individual to someone who now needs to rely on others for the everyday things we all take for granted. He is wheelchair dependent and continues to require skilled and specialized care to meet his ongoing needs.
The goal is to have available, whatever and whoever is needed, in order, for Paul to remain at home, surrounded by the love and comfort of family and friends.
