This is my beautiful momma. She is 70 years young and has been battling stage 4 breast cancer for almost 5 years. A couple years ago, the cancer metastasized to the brain stem and she underwent  radiation. The two small tumors were mostly under control.  During this time she developed leg pain that has steadily gotten worse. In the past couple of weeks she has lost the ability to do certain simple tasks like make a phone call or send an email and things have been getting a little jumbled in her mind. The leg pain has become severe enough to warrant using a walker, and now wheelchair. Through all of this, she remains a bright light of Joy and Love and inspiration!

Today we found out that the pain in her leg is cancer in the bones that has eaten away the bone and she has been walking on a fractured leg! We also found out that the tiny tumor in her brain is now 3". My mom can not be left alone right now because she can not figure out the simple tasks very well on her own. She is not able to do the work online that she has been doing for years and my wonderful stepfather Brad (her 30 year partner) is taking care of her. She has elected to stop all the treatments that the doctors say probably won't work anyway and focus on life and living.

My mom and Brad have decided to clean out and sell their house and we all decided that as a family it will be best to spend as much time as we can together while we can. So, we are asking for your help in finishing my garage into a living space for them to be able to move into ASAP. I remodeled most of it a couple years ago, so it's not too far off. It's already plumbed for a toilet and sink and shower...we just need help to get it done.  None of us are very good at asking for help, although we decided that, at this time...we really could use it. And rest assured, we will pay it forward as soon as we are able.

I also wanted to start this campaign also to help my mom and Brad not have to be so stressed about all the expenses they have as they are going through this difficult process as well as get a nice wheelchair and create wheelchair access around the living spaces.

Thank you for reading this and if you are called, please donate and if you would, please send lots of love and light and prayers to my mom and our family in this challenging time.

Life can be hard, but as we are realizing, the joy and the sorrow are just opposite sides of the same coin. All that really matters is Love.
We are totally open to miracles and believe that all is in Divine Right Order. Ideally...this all passes and my mom has many more years of adventures, but we are not taking any chances. We want to find ways to be together right NOW.

My heart goes out to anyone that is also dealing with loved ones that are going through a challenging time. Much peace and love to you too.

Thank you so much.
