Hello family and friends, 

We have some wonderful news: Ozzy is making incredible strides, and the doctors are starting to talk about a discharge date in the near future!(Sunday)We cannot wait to have him out of the hospital and back home where he belongs.

However, bringing him home comes with a whole new set of challenges. As many of you know, we live in a two-story house. For Ozzy to move around safely after losing his left leg, our home requires extensive modifications. 

Today we had a chairlift installed and hand rails in the shower. 

Two ramps have been ordered and should arrive Wednesday or Thursday.  In the meantime they provided us with temporary ramps. 

The turnaround time was amazing, they came Tuesday to go over the best products for his needs and installed the safety items today!! 

Once his left leg amputation fully heals we will be looking at various prosthetic’s so Ozzy can walk and do various other activities. 

The medical bills from his open-heart surgery, leg surgeries, ECMO and hospital stay are already overwhelming(5 weeks Monday)and these home modifications were made a priority.
