<div>On Sunday, November 30th, our parents (Gustavo and Carmen), aunt, and uncle (Mere and Abe) were in a devastating car accident in Utah. Their vehicle rolled several times, leaving everyone injured and our family facing challenges we never expected.

<div>Our aunt suffered internal bleeding and a fractured pelvis, and our dad broke two vertebrae in his neck. Both underwent emergency surgeries, and we’re deeply grateful they made it through.

<div>Just as things began to stabilize, our dad suffered a stroke on December 3rd related to his injuries. He is stable, but this has made his recovery even more difficult.
</div>

<div>Their healing journeys will be long:

<div>Our dad faces stroke recovery and at least six months of healing for his neck. Our aunt cannot walk for six weeks and will need extensive rehabilitation.

<div>Neither will be able to work for some time, and medical and living expenses are quickly adding up. We want them focused on healing, not financial worry.
