<div>Sometimes in life, we have to realize we can't do it all… we need to make sacrifices and adjustments along the way. This is exactly what has been forced upon me this holiday season. I have found myself being the sole caregiver for my 87-year-old mother. With no aide and time ticking, I have had to withdraw from the Cooks Corner Mall. To say I am devastated is an understatement. This is the last year of vendors at the mall during the holidays, and after 20+ years of having a booth, it's a huge loss.

<div>The mall has been a BIG source of income for us over the years. We raise $10,000-$12,000 each December at the mall, and the loss of that money is going to hurt our rescue work.

<div>Personally, for me, I will miss seeing each and every one of you who came to visit our booth year after year… many for 20 years! Hearing your cat stories, offering advice, adopting out kitties, and so very much more. We became December friends and my holidays will never truly be quite the same without you all in it. You have all been a huge blessing to me and all the kitties who you have helped with your purchases and donations.

<div>But reality is that this chapter has closed, and we need your help. I am going to get a lot more product onto Etsy, and I am offering free shipping for orders over $50. And I am making this GoFundMe in hopes you might donate to help us recoup some of this money.
