UPDATE 8/25/2025

Nikki’s second biopsy results show she is at Stage 4 Cholangio carcinoma (Bile Duct Cancer). Nikki has started Chemo treatments and is in high spirits. Prayers, good vibes and your generous donations are very much appreciated. Thank you all for your continuing support to help them through this difficult time.

Nikki is still recovering from a surgery and has to have another biopsy performed. We are almost half way to the goal. Thank you to all who have sent healing vibes, prayed and donated. Every little bit helps.

Hi, I’m Carolyn and this GoFundMe is for my work bestie, Nikki Polec.

She’s an amazing woman who cares for others before herself. She has recently been diagnosed with liver cancer and will need surgery and treatments. Her loving man in her life, Drew, is holding down things at home, being a caretaker for his parents. Drew’s father has recently been in an auto accident where he broke his hip and leg and is currently in rehab, working on getting better to get back home and take care of his wife. Drew and Nikki will be missing a lot of work and need your help to cover medical and living expenses. These are the type of people who won’t ask for help because they are used to being the ones helping others. For instance, Nikki’s mother has had some major health issues currently, and now Nikki isn’t able to help.
