Hello my name is Nicole Scott I am starting this go fund me on behave of my daughter.. I really struggled with even doing this but I really have no other choice!! On January 4th her car was stolen from our driveway.. Unfortunately the car was totaled out and the the kids who took the car didn’t survive.. While my heart goes out to their family and friends, and I am truly saddened by their loss, I have a daughter I feel sorry for as well.. It has been almost 2 weeks of getting the run around and the amount of frustration she is experiencing is phenomenal.. While I understand due to the unfortunate circumstances this is gonna be a lengthy process. She is only 22 years old… she works very hard for what she has.. although we have full coverage her car is considered a crime scene and no one is allowed near it.. Everything in it is gone, the car itself is destroyed.. sSate police are saying it could be a year or more before it’s released to my insurance company..

The balance of the car is a little more then 15,000 and she is responsible to continue to pay that off and maintain full coverage insurance while the claim is open while we wait.. she is also gonna need to come up with a down payment on another vehicle, and replace all of her belongings!! The insurance company is willing to give us 10 days in a rental starting from today to figure things out after the 24th she’s on her own..I feel really bad even having to do this, but she has been at her job since she was 17 and has worked her way up.. part of the requirements of her position now is to drive to different locations around the state of Connecticut without her vehicle. I’m afraid she might also lose her job… I don’t want her to loose anything else.. she is devastated enough!! If you can help in anyway it’s greatly appreciated.. even if it’s just to share this..
