Nathan’s mother, Susanne, was a huge presence in the community and touched countless lives with her joy, wisdom, and adventurous spirit. She was direct, selfless, and fiercely loyal. Susanne was an avid animal lover, a talented chef, and above all, a loving mother. 
 
 
 The news of Susanne’s sudden passing has left us all reeling. Nathan is now faced with the responsibility of making her arrangements, all while coping with the grief of losing his mother. In addition to the emotional toll, Nathan is missing work to handle these arrangements and to give himself time to grieve, which has created additional financial strain during an already difficult time. 
 
 
 The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward covering Susanne’s funeral expenses and helping Nathan with his living expenses as he takes time off work.
