Nancy's husband was recently diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, a life-changing event that has brought many challenges to their family. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy, which requires frequent trips to the hospital. The cost of co-pays and gas for these visits has quickly added up, putting a strain on their finances. On top of that, he has not been able to go shrimping, which was an important source of income and joy for their household. Now, they are relying solely on Nancy's income to keep things afloat.
