My son and my family are facing one of the toughest times of our lives. Recently, my son was involved in a hit and run accident while riding an e-scooter, which left him with a fractured vertebrae in his back. Since the accident, our days have been filled with doctor visits, consultations with specialists, and now, the possibility of surgery. The emotional toll has been heavy, but the financial strain is becoming overwhelming.

 To make sure my son gets the care he needs, I’ve had to take significant time off work. This means our income has dropped, just as our expenses are rising. Between medical bills, transportation to appointments, and everyday living costs, it’s been a struggle to keep up. The uncertainty of what comes next—especially with surgery on the horizon—makes it even harder.
