My sister has been ill and in the hospital for the past three weeks. The doctors are still searching for answers, but she is suffering from internal bleeding and has needed several blood transfusions. Recently, she had a shunt placed in her liver to help manage her condition. This has been an incredibly difficult time for her and her family, as she is the main provider and has been unable to work during her illness. 
 
 
 On top of her own health struggles, she recently missed a lot of work in May and June because her son was in the ICU on a ventilator for over a week. She slept by his bedside and stayed with him until he woke up, and has continued to be with him as he’s been getting better and back to good health. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming for her and her family. 
 
 
 The money raised will go directly toward her medical bills, home expenses, food, and other necessities. We also need help covering the cost of gas for trips to the hospital and doctor visits. Your support will help her and her family manage these burdens while she focuses on healing and recovery.
