Hello everyone, as you all know, the last 4 1/2 years have been a struggle for my sister, but today is a new beginning for her and her baby girl. At 3:30 am, she woke me up with a call saying, “They have a kidney, what should I do?” With no hesitation, I told her, “We're going to get it, and we will figure everything else out later.” Now, y’all that know my sister know how she is. She doesn’t ask; she gives. She will give her last if you need it. So now she needs a little support in her time of need. Yes, she's gonna be mad at me for doing this because, in her words, “2sweet, it’s ok. I will be fine. Don’t ask anybody for anything. I will figure it out.” Yes, she will be, but it's ok to receive some help. I’m not trying to make her rich. I just want to ease her mind from at least one part of this process because she would do it for me or anyone. Most importantly, keep her in your prayers and check on her baby while she is away for the next few weeks. Let her know that we care about her outcome and a speedy recovery. And if you can afford to assist with anything, I know she would appreciate it, even if she gets mad at me for doing this.
