<div>From my sister: I am writing this through exhaustion, fear, and tears. My husband, Jesse, went in for surgery to repair blocked arteries in his leg. We thought it was the beginning of recovery. Instead, while taking his very first steps after surgery, his artery ruptured. His leg filled with blood, and he was rushed into an emergency surgery that saved his life and leg.

<div>Jesse is now facing a long, painful recovery. When he comes home, he will need 24-hour care. He will need help with the most basic things and transportation to constant physical therapy appointments.
