My sister and her husband have faced unimaginable challenges this year. In May 2025, my sister was diagnosed with kidney failure and has been undergoing dialysis treatments while we search for a donor. Just a few months later, in November, her husband was diagnosed with liver failure. Thankfully, he was able to receive a transplant in December and is now in recovery. They are the loving parents of Veren, a 6-year-old boy, and Lena, a 4-year-old girl, and right now, they are living with my brother-in-law’s parents as they try to get back on their feet.

 With both parents unable to work due to their health, the family is struggling to cover basic living expenses, medical bills, and childcare for Veren and Lena. The financial strain has been overwhelming, and they need help to make it through this difficult time. Every contribution will go directly toward supporting their recovery, keeping a roof over their heads, and ensuring Veren and Lena are cared for while their parents heal.

 My sister is my whole heart. We lost our brother as teenagers, and it has been just us two since then. Anyone who knows me, knows my sister—she means the world to me and her children, Veren and Lena. She brought two beautiful kids into our lives, and seeing her and her husband struggle is the hardest thing for me. I do not want to lose another sibling. Any support you can give would mean everything to our family.
