My family is facing one of the hardest times we’ve ever known. My stepdad recently had emergency open heart surgery, and the recovery has been overwhelming for all of us. My mom, who is over 70, is doing her best to keep up with everything, but it’s just too much for her alone. Both of my parents are living on disability, and they also care for my 35-year-old sibling, who is unable to provide for themselves due to their disability.

 We’re doing our best to get by, but the costs are adding up quickly. We need help with basic necessities like groceries, a dishwasher to make daily life a little easier for my mom, and support for lawn care and property upkeep. One of the biggest needs right now is a hospital bed to help my stepdad recover comfortably at home. I wish I could do more, but I’m stretched thin trying to support my own family as well.
