As many of you might know, my niece is having her first surgery on Tuesday, May 20th. This surgery will consist of her getting a halo as a first step prior to her getting spine surgery. The distance from our home to the hospital is 52 minutes.

We are grateful that all hospital costs will be taken care of. But the reason I am creating this GoFundMe on my sister's behalf is because unfortunately we don’t have sufficient funds to be able to help my sister with gas and food for the next 3 months as she will have to stay there and is having to provide her own meals.

My sister is having to stop focusing on her side hustle to be my niece's primary caregiver. She will also be having to travel back and forth as she might need to come help or check on my nephew who is autistic because she isn’t allowed to have him at the hospital. I’ve never felt the need to have to make one before but I am here today trying to get my sister any help she can get. This isn’t going to be an easy ride but I pray to God that he guides my niece through this surgery safely and thankful that my sister will be alongside her.
