My mother has always been a source of strength and inspiration for our family. At 71 years old, she still works as a hairstylist and runs her own salon, showing a level of dedication and passion that is truly rare. Her clients adore her, and she’s built a community around her salon that feels like family. Recently, she suffered a serious fall and broke her shoulder bone. This injury means she’ll need to take several months off work to recover, which is a huge challenge for someone who has always been so independent and hardworking.

 During this time, my mother will need help covering her medical bills, the rent for her beloved salon, and her daily living expenses. As her child, I want to do everything I can to support her, but I live two hours away and there’s only so much I can do on my own. That’s why I’m reaching out to our community for help.
