<div>My mom has always been the heart of our family. Ever since I was 5 years old (I'm 27 now for reference), she worked at the same job, building relationships with customers who became like family. She rarely missed a day, even when she was sick or recovering from her recent car accident, in which she's still been suffering from the injuries, and she always put her best into everything she does. She had to do what she could to take care of my brother, Sebastian, and myself. A couple of months ago, she was injured at work as well, and despite her pre-existing injuries from the car accident, she kept going. <strong>Unfortunately, her company recently let her go without any explanation, just as the slow season began and jobs became scarce.</strong> My mom has never gotten in any trouble working at that job my whole life, no write-ups, nothing negative whatsoever. It broke her heart to leave the people she cared for, and it has been devastating to watch her struggle after giving so much for so long for our family.

<div>As a single mother, my mom has always put my brother and me first. She made sure we had everything we needed, cooking meals from scratch and even taking on major home repairs herself. It's to the point she can't keep going anymore because she's so physically hurt. <strong>Right now, one of the main walls in her house is collapsing, and she has been learning masonry, insulation, and even plumbing to fix it on her own.</strong> She is the strongest person I know, but this time, she needs help. <strong>Unemployment benefits are insufficient to cover my mom's bills, and she is waiting for aid to be approved; however, until then, she is falling behind on living expenses, medical costs, and urgent repairs.</strong>

<div>Thank you to anyone willing to help my mom. She has always tried to be kind and help others, even when they have not treated her well. My mom never asks for help and always strives to do everything herself, but right now she truly needs support. Any assistance would mean the world to me. I've done what I can to help, but I don't know what else to do. Please, even if it isn't much, it would truly mean the world to me. I love my mom, my brother, and the home I grew up in, and there's no more I can do other than be supportive as her son because I have to make sure my living situation is okay too.
