My name is Kaitlyn Minnick. I'm starting this GoFundMe for a good friend of mine, Athena Devicente. She unexpectedly lost her father, Jerry Lewis, today. Jerry was a US Army veteran and was 67 years old. Athena recently moved her dad to Virginia from Arizona so she and her sister could better care for him. She is absolutely heartbroken from the loss of her dad.

I'm asking my friends for anything they can spare to help support her while she grieves and processes this loss. She will need the money to help cover funeral expenses, food, and bills due to missing work dealing with the estate. She is the sole provider for three beautiful kids and cannot afford to miss work.
