<div>After ongoing digestive issues that prompted an abdominal ultrasound, I discovered that Copper had gallbladder disease. This meant that his gallbladder had to be surgically removed or he would not survive.

<div>I'm starting this fundraiser to help offset part of the cost of the surgery. I was laid off in 2025 and have not been able to find work since then, so it would mean the world to me if you could give what you can.

<div>If any of you have met Copper, you know he has a big personality despite his tiny body. He's sweet and stubborn and never backs down from a challenge (even when it's five times his size), so neither will I! I know he's got a lot of life left in him, and he's looking forward to more walks, more rolling in the grass, more treats, and more cuddles!
