My brother suffered a severe stroke and has been hospitalized since April. The stroke has left him unable to speak and without the use of his right side. Our family has been by his side every day as he faces the biggest challenge of his life. Before this happened, my brother was an independent and hardworking person. In an instant, everything changed. He now faces a long road of recovery that will require extensive medical care, rehabilitation, and daily assistance.

Medical equipment and mobility aids. Home modifications needed for accessibility. Living expenses during his recovery. Caregiving and support services.
