Support for Doug Louie After the Loss of Thedda Marie

Hi, My name is Dave Quinn and I am fundraising for my longtime friend and bandmate, Doug Louie to help him with unexpected expenses after the sudden loss of his partner, Thedda Marie.

We are deeply saddened by the recent passing of Thedda Marie, a wonderful and kind person and talented blues and R&B singer. Born on September 15, 1950, Thedda touched countless lives through her soulful voice and magnetic stage presence. She was not only a great singer but also a much-loved partner of Vancouver musician Doug Louie.

Doug and Thedda were lifelong friends and have shared their lives for many years, creating beautiful memories and music together. As Doug navigates this incredibly challenging time, we want to support him by easing the financial burden of unexpected expenses.

Doug has been a fixture in the Vancouver music scene for 50+ years. Throughout his career, he has contributed to and supported live music. Now, it's our turn to help and support him.

Doug now faces the journey ahead without his beloved partner, and your support can make a significant difference. Any contribution, no matter how small, is appreciated and will go directly to Doug to help cover necessary and unplanned expenses.
