Over the past several weeks, our family’s world has been turned upside down. Our mother has been fighting through one medical emergency after another. What started with kidney failure became an emotional roller coaster as we prayed for answers and hoped for healing. We were thankful when her kidneys began recovering, but now doctors have found a mass that needs urgent testing and evaluation.

She is now being transferred to a third hospital to see specialists who can hopefully give us answers and a treatment plan. Watching our mom go through so much pain, uncertainty, and fear has been heartbreaking. She has always been the strongest person we know — the one who takes care of everyone else, no matter what she’s going through herself.

My parents are doing everything they can to keep up, but the medical bills, hospital stays, transportation costs, missed work, and everyday expenses are becoming more than they can manage alone. The funds raised through this campaign will help cover the costly medical expenses and the financial hardship for their personal bills.
