My mom has stage 4 cervical cancer. The type she has is aggressive and invasive and is spreading to her other organs. She's said she doesn't want to do any treatment for multiple reasons. So, I'd like to keep her as comfortable and as happy as possible.

She has nephrostomy tubes coming out of each of her kidneys that have colostomy bags at the end, and she's having a hard time getting around with them. They fall down into the wheels of her wheelchair when she's trying to get around, and when she's trying to sleep, they fall off the sides of her bed and pull where the incision is, which is really uncomfortable for her. She is also embarrassed by them, and being able to conceal them and have them not be in her way would be ideal. There is special clothing that has hidden pockets specifically made for those. I'd like to get her some of those and some better pillows for her bed. She could use some clothes in general that are comfortable and won't restrict her movement. I'm afraid of her falling or pulling out the tubes if they get stuck in something.

She's also really into coloring and doing word searches.

We'll know more about how far it's spread on the 18th of this month. With no treatment, it's not much time. We don't get enough time as it is. I just would like to get her some stuff that makes just getting around easier and without her feeling self-conscious.

It's been difficult because she also has dementia and doesn't remember she has cancer. So, when she's told, it's like hearing it again for the first time. So, it's not brought up unless it's absolutely necessary.

I'd appreciate any help you can give. I'm doing what I can, but I'm not really in the position to help her the way I'd like to and the way she deserves.
