<div>Michael “Mikey” Owings  is a friend, a patriot, and a true American hero. As a former member of the legendary SEAL Team 6, Mikey has dedicated his life to serving our country and protecting the freedoms we all cherish. He has faced unimaginable dangers and put his life on the line time and again, always putting others before himself. The irony is heartbreaking: after surviving so many perilous missions, Mikey was critically injured in a devastating car accident just miles from his home in Lake Wales, FL. This incident occurred as Mikey was waiting to turn towards his house when two cars collided in front of him, and careened directly into his, and the vehicle behind him.

<div>The accident on Route 60 involved four or five vehicles and eleven people, with four tragically losing their lives at the scene. Mikey was airlifted to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition. In the past 24 hours alone, he has undergone three surgeries and is currently in a medically induced coma. His family and friends are by his side, facing an uncertain road ahead and doing everything they can to support his recovery.
