Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,

I’m reaching out today on behalf of my incredible mother, Michelle, who has recently endured a serious and unexpected medical emergency.

What began as a routine procedure to remove a mass near her kidney turned into a life-threatening situation. During surgery, doctors discovered her abdomen was severely inflamed and had to immediately perform an open abdominal surgery. They found that a ruptured colon—caused by diverticulitis—had allowed infection to spread, spilling her small intestines into her abdominal cavity. This discovery led to a six-hour emergency operation and nearly two weeks in the hospital.

We are so grateful to say Michelle is now home and slowly beginning the healing process. However, the road to recovery will be long. She will be out of work for the foreseeable future, and both of my parents have already missed several weeks of income while navigating this crisis together. On top of that, the medical bills are quickly adding up.

At this time, we are humbly asking for any financial support you can offer to help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward medical expenses, household bills, and supporting my parents as they focus on Michelle’s recovery.
