Support for Meredith Booth and Family

Meredith is on the transplant list! Your generosity has helped sustain her and her care thus far and as her recovery moves into this new and exciting direction, additional help is needed. We want to thank everyone so much for the support over the past 8 months. Whether it be through encouragement, prayers, or finances, you have all carried us through. We are so excited and proud to say that Meredith has officially been placed on the liver and kidney transplant lists at Vanderbilt! We are hoping for the call in the next several weeks. The money donated in the first wave of fundraising (8,000ish!) helped us pay for 3 months of marketplace health insurance, 6 months of an intensive outpatient rehab program, a computer for that program, medications, multiple doctor’s visits, trips to Nashville for appointments, and general care. We cannot thank you enough. We are asking again for donations to assist with transplant costs. Meredith and those of us helping her will have to be in Nashville for approximately 6 weeks post-transplant. We will need help with the cost of housing, food, anti-rejection meds (that aren’t entirely covered by insurance), gas, hospital bills, and other unforeseen expenses that are sure to arise. We are humbled and thankful for you all.

Meredith is a dear friend and sister who is battling liver failure and is not a candidate right now for a transplant. We want to support Meredith and her family during this difficult time. Hospital stays always mean unexpected expenses. Your donation will help cover whatever expenses incurred from the hospital, help those taking time off of work to care for Meredith, and support her and her family in the weeks to come.
